I don't know how likely it is I'll get any of this done soon. I've had the craziest weekend, and I am lol behind in a few of my classes. I have two papers due in the next two weeks, but I am not super stressed about those yet.
Also, real people are using the word "Snowpacalypse". For some reason, in my brain the use of the word is a tribute to Neo. |

Ok, so I've mentioned this a few times before, but I'm going to be going to Iowa for a skating competition, and leaving early tomorrow afternoon! I won't be back until Saturday evening, in all likelihood. I'm bringing my netbook, but I don't know how much chance I'll have to get online.
Anyway, this means I'm going to miss the bulk of Neo's last hurrah, and I'll probably be a little late reacting to BW bomb rolls. I've been leaving a few Neopolis yearbook comment here and there, and I'll try and get to a few more tonight/tomorrow morning around packing for Iowa. My "next 20 years" post will probably have to wait until Sunday. homg last minute. ughhhhhh timing. Why do I need to have a real life? :( |

In the style of those old cracky Marvel comics, pose a hypothetical question about one of my characters (What if Heather grew up in Neopolis? What if Drake and Duke had each other's powers?) and I will babble on about what that would have been like/possibly write a little drabble for it if the urge strikes me.
Also, all my yearbooks are up, and I am currently thinking through my 20 Years Later. I'm going away on Thursday, so I don't think I'll be around for the actual end of the game, and this makes me very sad. :( |

People applying to Living Fiction! Do you have a student or a teacher at one of the universities? If so, which university? What do they study/teach? Right now, I have a painting teacher at one of the art schools (probably CCA SF Art Institute), but if it would open me up to more interactions, I could totally see him also doing classes at a more academically-oriented university too. Like, my painting teacher last quarter taught at both NU and the Art Institute of Chicago.
It was kind of funny. He was like, "Yeah, kids at the Art Institute don't see why it's a problem when you come to class stoned. You don't get that at Northwestern."
Switching gears: I will get my Neo yearbook pages up TODAY. I promise. Just not while I'm in the libs. And if we've planned any logs for the end of the game, wanna chat about that?
Edit: Also, please help me with a name. I am picking between Casper "Cass" Dalaney, Casey Landas, and Daniel "Dan" Lacassey. I just... which one sounds most like a name and not "Loren was trying to make some letters fit"?

In other news, I accidentally came out of the RP closet to one of my friends when I meant to link him to something else. Fortunately, it was probably the best person I could have accidentally linked to... online Harry Potter shenanigans because he was totally cool about it. He was like, "It doesn't seem that odd to me, literally all of my friends RP in some form. I mean, I play Star Wars D20 games..." Also, he goes on /b/, so I don't think he can judge me. SURPRISE, GUYS. I'm going to Fraser, Michigan for the weekend to compete with my synchro team, and leaving at noon Saturday. There will probably be multiple pics of me in hooker makeup and ice skates on Facebook by this time next week.

Ok, so this may or may not be for ![[info]](http://www.insanejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif) bw_mods. I will not say. But homg if it were, it would be my first HP app since like... Dis I think? I've forgotten how long they were! And also how impossible it is to PB characters in their mid-teens.

FIRST, I need a PB for a 15-year-old Magnus "Dent Head" MacDonald! I want someone who looks like they grew up on a farm, and also someone who looks both dumb enough to wrestle a bear and athletic enough to survive it. Basically, someone who looks like they would have the nickname "Dent Head." I was considering a young Ryan Gosling, but he is too old! Also this guy, but I think he's too modern.
SECOND, this idea is not quite as fully-formed, but I need someone well-dressed and foppish. Kind of like this, but he is ALSO TOO OLD. This one is supposed to be 16.
Edit: Gosh darn it, Ed Westwick is banned. :(

Edit: Also, this is really random, but here is yet another story about how obnoxious my father is. We were on a bus, and he got a call, so he took it, and he talked very loudly for quite a while. He was sitting in the front of the bus, and I was in the back, and I could still hear every word he said. And when he hung up, some other guys on the bus started clapping and saying things like "Finally!"
I mean, okay, that was probably more obnoxious than being on the phone on a bus. But still. |
